Dublin’s flagship marathon through the heart of the city, one of Ireland’s biggest road races.

Annual 42.195 km road marathon. The route goes through central Dublin landmarks, often including Phoenix Park, starting near Fitzwilliam Square and finishing near Merrion Square. Thousands of runners — domestic and international — participate; also strong spectator support and charity entries.

Marathon Entry Fee: €110

  • Entry is allocated through a ballot system.
  • A €5 administration fee is charged when applying for the ballot and is deducted from the entry fee if selected.
