A 5-day stage race in the Indian Himalayas, described as the most spectacular running course in the world. Runners experience views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga (4 of the 5 highest peaks). The course covers isolated jungle, pine forests, villages, and rivers, with wildlife like yaks and red pandas. Stages: 24, 20, 26, 13, and 17 miles. No age limits or stage cutoff times. Full support, meals, and rustic mountain hut accommodations. First held in 1991.
